Soul Dance Celebration: Free 90 Min Kick Off

Soul dance is a mindful movement practice that invites you to let down your burdens and freely dance. Each class is skillfully guided by Rachel (and the music) to take you through the 5 elements of life: earth, fire, water, air, and space.

Soul dance is not like a traditional dance class. There’s no choreography. At first that might sound scary, but what it means is that there’s no way to get it wrong. There are no mirrors. We aren’t coming together to make ourselves look performance-perfect so we can hope to be judged as worthy. There is no judgement. Instead, we come together to listen to our bodies and express our hearts. We move to the rhythms of life as we practice our yoga of self-awareness and self-acceptance.

The moment you realize you’re in a room full of people, all joyfully lost in the music, deeply connected to their own bodies, willing to be themselves without shame, the moment you realize no one’s eyes are judging you, that’s the moment you can stop judging yourself. When you let yourself be free, that’s when you meet your soul.
