Aaron “Bear” Berger

“Aaron “Bear” was first introduced to yoga in 2010 and began a daily practice in 2015 after meeting his primary teacher, Erica Kaufman. Upon realizing the depth of offerings available through a committed yoga practice, he adopted yogic philosophy and study as a lifestyle. He completed RYT-200 in January 2019 at Lila Yoga studios with Erica Kaufman, two seperate 100hour teacher trainings with Dr. S Pandey Ji and Yogi Sanjey Ji in Rishikesh, India, studied under several teachers at Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram in Chennai, India, and attends annual 10-day silent Vipassana meditation courses globally. In addition to teaching yoga in a studio setting, Aaron integrates yoga practice into his life as a musician, sound healer and holistic life coach. Wherever you are on your path, Aaron’s focus is to assist you in your personal development with compassion and joy. His classes harmoniously blend yoga asana (postures) with chanting, inspirational expression, and intentional breathwork.
